Greetings!

My name is Seth Hammond and I am a sophomore Music Education Major aspiring one day to become a professional music teacher. Some of my favorite things to do besides making music is to go fishing, running, and cooking.

Experience/Education

I am currently receiving my education at Drake University. This will be my second year attending and I have had the opportunity to, go on practicum and observe other amazing teachers. I am currently a member of the ACDA and NAfME chapters held at Drake University. Many wonderful opportunities that come from these chapters are speeches, lesson examples, and real world experience with volunteer music teachers.

Opportunities that I have experience outside the realm of education include, singing at the Drake Opera Program, being an Officer in the Drake Choir, being a student representative in the Students of Music Advisory Committee, being the manager of the media center and I look forward to participating in much more as the years progress.
